Job summary

Cpl is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead the finance function for a fast-growing engineering and technical services provider in Limerick. You will report to the site Director of Operations and drive governance, monthly/annual close, and strategic financial direction across the business.

Qualifications

• 3rd level degree is required in a relevant discipline.
• Fully qualified accountant – Big 3 training preferred but not essential.
• 6-7+ years experience in a Finance Controller, Finance Manager or similar level role ideally.
• Experience gained supporting international entities would be a major advantage.
• Experience in growth planning & expansion strategy would be an advantage.
• Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications.
• Proven ERP system experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

The Job

Reporting to the site based Director of Operations, you will be a key part of the senior leadership team & be responsible for leading the finance function as well as providing strategic financial direction & governance across all aspects of business operations.

More specifically you will take ownership of the monthly & annual close processes, develop & maintain robust financial controls, deliver detailed financial analysis & performance reports, oversee risk/compliance & audit processes, coordinate & implement annual budgets, provide financial guidance to commercial & technical leaders, lead business transformation projects, mentor & support your team in their own duties & liaise with the global CFO on all relevant projects for your region.

Your Skills/Experience that we need

• 3rd level degree qualified in a relevant discipline.

The Offer

This position is being offered as a permanent role & salary on offer will depend on skills/experience of the candidate but is expected to range up to 90-95k approx. In addition there will be further career growth & development prospects towards a director level role.

This role will be a hybrid position with 2-3 days office based in Limerick city centre & the balance from home/remote so could also suit candidates outside the immediate Limerick region.
