Job summary

Cpl is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead the finance function for a fast-growing engineering and technical services provider in Limerick. You will report to the site Director of Operations and drive governance, monthly/annual close, and strategic financial direction across the business.

Qualifications

• 3rd level degree is required in a relevant discipline.
• Fully qualified accountant – Big 3 training preferred but not essential.
• 6-7+ years experience in a Finance Controller, Finance Manager or similar level role ideally.
• Experience gained supporting international entities would be a major advantage.
• Experience in growth planning & expansion strategy would be an advantage.
• Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications.
• Proven ERP system experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function and provide strategic financial direction & governance across all business operations.
• Own monthly and annual close processes and develop robust financial controls.
• Deliver detailed financial analysis and performance reports; oversee risk/compliance and audit processes.
• Coordinate and implement annual budgets and provide financial guidance to commercial & technical leaders.
• Lead business transformation projects and mentor the finance team.
• Liaise with the global CFO on projects for the region.
