Job summary

Darwin Hawkins in Ballinasloe is seeking a Financial Accountant to join a growing engineering firm on a hybrid basis. You will handle monthly P&L analysis, balance sheet reconciliation at entity level, and contribute to management accounts for key entities.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will assist in finance system integration, engage with customers and senior management, and perform financial analysis and modelling as required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with experience in audit, tax, or corporate finance.
• Experience in financial accounting and management reporting.
• Ability to work in a team and achieve targets.

Responsibilities

• Monthly analysis of the profit and loss movements with balance sheet reconciliation at entity level.
• Preparation of month-end management accounts for significant entities within the business.
• Assist in the integration of finance systems.
• Dealing directly and indirectly with customers and senior company management.
• Completing a variety of financial analysis and modelling as required.
