Michael Page is partnering with a leading international retailer to recruit a Finance Systems Specialist in Dublin. You will support and enhance SAP-based finance systems across the EMEA region while driving process improvements and project initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Finance Systems, ERP Support or similar role.
• Experience with SAP in MM/SD/FI modules.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience gathering requirements and supporting system enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for finance systems support across EMEA.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues with IT and product teams.
• Monitor system performance, data quality, and integrations.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for tech teams.
• Support finance systems enhancements, upgrades, and transformation projects.
• Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Manage smaller finance systems projects from planning to implementation.

• Deliver user training and support change management initiatives.

Join a leading international retailer as a Finance Systems Specialist, supporting and enhancing SAP-based finance systems across the EMEA while driving system improvements, project initiatives, and business process optimisation.

Our client is a globally recognised retail organisation operating across multiple international markets, with a strong reputation for innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. As part of an ongoing investment in finance systems and digital transformation, they are seeking a Finance Systems Specialist to join their Dublin-based team.

This position combines systems support, business analysis, project delivery, and stakeholder engagement, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of finance and technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for finance systems support across the EMEA Supply Hub.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, working collaboratively with IT and product teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Monitor system performance, integrations, and data quality to ensure reliable business operations.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into clear functional specifications for technical teams.
• Support the delivery of finance systems enhancements, upgrades, and transformation projects.
• Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring solutions meet business requirements.
• Manage smaller-scale systems projects from planning through to implementation.
• Create and maintain process documentation, training materials, and user guides.
• Deliver user training and support change management initiatives to drive adoption of new systems and processes.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Technology functions.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve reporting capabilities, and enhance system efficiency.

Profile

The successful applicant will have experience supporting and optimising finance or ERP systems within a commercial environment, with a strong understanding of SAP and business process improvement. They will be a proactive problem-solver who can confidently work with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, and Technology teams to deliver effective system solutions.

Key requirements include:

• 2+ years' experience in a Finance Systems, ERP Support, Business Systems, or similar role
• Experience working with SAP, particularly within MM, SD, and FI modules
• Strong SQL skills and an ability to analyse and interpret data
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience gathering business requirements and supporting system enhancements
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• A degree or qualification in Finance, Business Information Systems, Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline

Desirable experience:

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA
• ERP implementation or transformation project experience
• Experience within a retail, supply chain, or multinational environment
• Knowledge of Databricks and/or Intrastat reporting
• Experience coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and end-user training initiatives
