Job summary

Our client, a globally recognised retailer, is seeking a Finance Systems Specialist to join their Dublin-based team. The role combines systems support, business analysis, project delivery and stakeholder engagement at the intersection of finance and technology.

You will act as the primary contact for finance systems across EMEA, troubleshoot issues, monitor performance and support UAT and system enhancements. A strong SAP background and SQL skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in Finance Systems, ERP Support, Business Systems, or similar role.
• Experience with SAP MM, SD, FI modules.
• Strong SQL skills and data analysis abilities.
• Experience gathering requirements and supporting system enhancements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for finance systems support across EMEA.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues with IT and product teams.
• Monitor system performance, integrations and data quality.
• Translate business requirements into functional specs for technical teams.
• Support finance systems enhancements, upgrades and transformation projects.
• Coordinate and execute UAT for new solutions.
• Manage small-scale systems projects from planning to implementation.
• Create and maintain process docs, training materials, and user guides.
• Deliver user training and drive change management for new systems and processes.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain, Operations and Technology.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve reporting and system efficiency.
