Job summary

TrueLayer is seeking a Head of Finance (PCF-11) in Dublin to own financial reporting, safeguarding of customer funds, and regulatory activities. You will partner with the Group CFO, guide audits, and implement AI-driven improvements across finance processes in a lean, scaling environment.

You will champion regulatory accountability, prudential reporting, and business partnering to support growth while maintaining strong internal controls and accountability with the Central Bank of Ireland.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with strong technical grounding in financial reporting and audit management.
• Experience in regulated payments/fintech environments is preferred.
• Exposure to safeguarding or client asset regimes is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Own statutory financial statements, management accounts, and Board reporting.
• Lead external audits and ensure audit readiness and remedial actions.
• Maintain robust financial controls and policies for a regulated payments entity.
• Oversee regulatory reporting calendars and liaise with the Board and Group stakeholders.
• Drive AI-enabled process improvements with oversight to maintain compliance.
