Job summary

Seccl Ireland is hiring a Head of Finance to own financial reporting, capital position and controls within a regulated Irish financial services business. You will be accountable to the Seccl Ireland Board and operate under PCF-11 with the Central Bank of Ireland, coordinating with UK finance teams and building the function from the ground up.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and external audits, ensuring timely, accurate reporting and robust financial controls.

Qualifications

• Significant finance experience in a regulated Irish financial services business.
• Ability to present to boards and audit committees and interact with auditors/regulators.
• Strong technical grounding in financial reporting, statutory accounts and audit under IFRS or FRS 102.

Responsibilities

• Own Seccl Ireland's statutory accounts, management accounts and board reporting, ensuring accuracy and audit-readiness.
• Lead the annual external audit from timetable to findings responses.
• Own regulatory reporting calendar and monitoring of capital, own funds and liquidity.
• Act as key contact for Central Bank on finance/regulatory matters, supporting authorisation and supervision.
• Build financial controls, policies and processes for a regulated business from scratch, using automation where sensible.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling with Irish leadership, advising the board on annual plans.
• Provide clear, commercially minded financial insight to the Ireland CEO and leadership team to shape decisions.
