Job summary

Seccl Ireland is seeking a Head of Finance to own financial reporting, capital position and controls for the Irish arm as part of its European expansion. You will report to the Seccl Ireland Board and interact with the Central Bank of Ireland, ensuring audit readiness and robust controls.

You will set up processes and reporting rhythms for a regulated business, collaborate with UK finance, and present to the board with practical, commercially focused insights.

Qualifications

• Significant finance experience in a regulated Irish financial services business.
• Professional accounting qualification and membership of a recognized body.
• Understanding of prudential requirements for investment firms in Ireland, including capital, own funds and liquidity.
• Strong grounding in financial reporting, statutory accounts and audit under IFRS or FRS 102.

Responsibilities

• Own statutory accounts, management accounts and board financial reporting for Seccl Ireland.
• Lead the annual external audit process.
• Own regulatory reporting calendar and monitor capital, own funds and liquidity.
• Be the key contact for the Central Bank on finance and regulatory matters.
• Build financial controls, policies and processes for a regulated business from scratch.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling with the Irish leadership team.
• Provide commercially minded financial insight to the Ireland CEO and leadership team.
