Job summary

EirGrid, based in Dublin, seeks a Finance Specialist to join the Financial Operations team. You will ensure accurate customer invoicing, manage payments, expenses and prepare journals to support timely financial reporting.

Five years’ finance experience, strong Excel and ERP knowledge, and excellent communication are required. This role offers a detailed, process-driven environment within a purpose-led energy organisation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ finance experience.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver results.
• Strong numeracy and an analytical approach to work.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise and organise work.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and ERP usage.

Responsibilities

• Assist with issuing Customer invoices ensuring that all Customer Invoices are issued accurately & in a timely manner.
• Assist with the preparation of the monthly Customer Invoices for various settlement schemes in line with regulatory timetables.
• Assist with the posting & allocation of Customer Payments received into various bank accounts on daily basis.
• Assist with management of the company credit cards.
• Assist with review and processing of employee expenses in line with Expenses Policy.
• Assist with maintaining and updating of supplier master data.
