Job summary

EirGrid Group is seeking a Head of Finance Business Partnering to lead the new Finance Business Partnering function and drive high-quality financial insight across the organisation.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will shape partnering models, mentor a high-performing team, and partner with Chief Officers to support strategic investment, budgeting and performance management.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with significant post-qualification senior finance leadership experience.
• Proven track record leading Finance Business Partnering, FP&A or equivalent in a large, complex organisation.
• Strong ability to influence Executive teams and provide strategic financial insight.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enhance the Finance Business Partnering function, defining strategy and operating model.
• Build and develop a high-performing team of Finance Business Partners.
• Embed Finance into decision-making and strategic planning processes.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning with commercial insight.
• Lead major investment decisions, business cases and capital programmes.
• Drive governance, accountability and value creation across directorates.
• Promote data-driven finance transformation and modern reporting capabilities.
• Contribute to Finance strategy and organisation-wide performance management.
