Job summary

Leinster Appointments Ltd. is recruiting a Finance Manager / Senior Management Accountant for a Clane-based role in the medical sector. You will own the day-to-day finance function, reporting to the MD and Operations Manager to support performance and decision-making.

The role requires 2–4 years’ relevant experience in management accounting and reporting, proficiency in Sage and Excel, and payroll experience. Office-based with flexibility around hours; salary €65,000–€75,000 DOE.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with 2–4 years' relevant experience.
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Sage and Excel; payroll experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance function and ensure accurate reporting.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet reconciliations and analysis.
• Oversee cash flow, payables/receivables, and VAT/Intrastat submissions.
• Coordinate year-end accounts and external audits.
• Provide financial reporting, analysis and insights to senior management.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiencies.
