Xtremepush seeks an Assistant Finance Manager to join our Finance team and collaborate with the Financial Controller across five entities. This hands-on role covers financial accounting, credit control, month-end, reporting and finance operations, with a focus on robust processes and controls.

The role supports development across AI-driven improvements and scalable procedures. The successful candidate will take ownership, work across multiple finance areas, and thrive in a growing technology

Qualifications

• 4-6+ years' experience in finance, accounting, credit control, finance operations or a similar role.
• Accounting technician qualification (ATI/IATI) or part-qualification (ACCA/CIMA) is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of core accounting principles and finance processes.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations and journals.
• Proven experience managing credit control / accounts receivable and driving cash collection.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort with finance systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across different areas of Finance.
• Proactive, self-starting, takes ownership and works independently.
• Experience in both large organisations and startups is a bonus.
• Genuine interest in AI, automation and using technology to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support the Financial Controller across day-to-day Finance and the Group's five entities.
• Own key finance processes including month-end close, reconciliations, journals, AP, AR and intercompany transactions.
• Prepare financial reports, KPIs and cash-flow forecasts for the Financial Controller and wider business.
• Support audit preparation, VAT returns and other statutory finance requirements.
• Investigate discrepancies, maintain ledgers and strong financial controls.
• Provide financial analysis and ad-hoc support on finance projects and business needs.
• Take ownership of credit control and cash collection across the group and enhance reporting.
• Identify opportunities to automate and standardise finance processes using AI and technology.
