Job summary

FRS Recruitment seeks a Finance Manager in Monaghan to drive monthly management accounts, board reporting and budgeting in a growing project-led business. You will manage two direct reports and partner with operational teams to deliver insightful financial information.

The role reports to the Financial Controller and requires ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification with strong leadership and commercial acumen for continued progression in the finance leadership team.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA – essential.
• Strong management and financial reporting experience.
• Previous people management experience.
• Commercial, hands-on and comfortable working across the business.
• Engineering, construction or another project-led background advantageous.
• Project accounting/CVR experience beneficial.

Finance Manager – Monaghan

I'm partnering with a fast-growing, project-led business to appoint a Finance Manager into a newly created role.

This is a genuine No.2 position within Finance, reporting directly to the Financial Controller and managing 2 direct reports.

The key focus will be financial reporting, team management and delivering accurate, insightful information to support the business.

The role:

• Lead and develop 2 direct reports
• Own monthly management accounts and reporting
• Prepare Board reporting and analysis
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Balance sheet and month-end review
• Cash flow and working capital reporting
• Strengthen controls, processes and reporting

What I'm looking for:
