Job summary

Artemis Human Capital partners with a South Monaghan manufacturing business to appoint a Management Accountant. The role focuses on management reporting, product costing and commercial analysis to drive financial performance.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will support budgeting, forecasting and provide insights to non-financial stakeholders. Strong Excel, ERP and Power BI experience are desirable for this position.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or part-qualified.
• 3+ years in finance or management accounting.
• Strong Excel and financial reporting skills.
• Experience communicating with non-financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and month-end processes.
• Provide analysis and variance reporting against budget/forecast.
• Manage product costing, margins and profitability analysis.
• Analyse yields, waste and stock movements.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Develop management reports and financial models.
• Provide commercial analysis to support pricing decisions.
• Ensure accuracy of ERP, inventory and purchasing data.
• Provide sales and commercial reporting to support decisions.

We are delighted to be partnering with a successful manufacturing business in South Monaghan to appoint a Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused accountant to join a growing business and play a key role in supporting financial and operational performance.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the successful candidate will take responsibility for management reporting, product costing, budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis, working closely with the wider business.

The Role:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and complete month-end processes
• Provide financial analysis and variance reporting against budget and forecast
• Manage product costing, margins and profitability analysis
• Analyse production yields, waste and stock movements
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Develop management reports and financial models
• Provide commercial analysis to support pricing and business decisions
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of ERP, inventory and purchasing systems
• Provide sales and commercial reporting to support decision-making

The Person:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or part-qualified
• 3+ years’ relevant finance or management accounting experience
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience
• Excellent Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• Commercially minded with strong problem-solving skills
• Experience working to tight month-end deadlines

Desirable:

• Experience with ERP systems and Power BI
• Product costing, inventory or yield analysis experience
• Experience partnering with Commercial, Sales or Operations teams
