Job summary

Barden is supporting a Cork client in recruiting an experienced Financial Implementation Consultant for a six-month contract. You will bridge Finance and the programme team, leading data migration, testing and cutover to ensure a successful go-live and post-go-live stability.

The role requires a Chartered accountant with 8+ years in Finance-side ERP implementations, plus hands-on migration and reconciliation skills. You will work independently to fixed deadlines with on-site presence in Cork.

Qualifications

• Chartered accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA and strong technical finance knowledge.
• 8+ years of Finance ERP implementation experience.
• Hands-on data migration, reconciliation, testing and cutover experience.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Agresso or Navision.
• Knowledge of record-to-report, purchase-to-pay, order-to-cash, intercompany and month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Represent Finance on the programme and help shape key decisions.
• Lead Finance involvement in data migration from validation to sign-off.
• Coordinate Finance activity during cutover to protect financial control and reporting.
• Support the design and documentation of finance processes and controls in the new platform.
• Work closely with project managers, implementation partners and technical teams on risks and dependencies.

Barden is delighted to be working with one of our clients in Cork as they look to hire an experienced Financial Implementation Consultant on a six-month contract. A major ERP programme is underway with a fixed go-live date, and Finance needs a senior voice in the room.

You will be the link between Finance and the programme team, making sure the new platform works for the people who rely on it. You will lead Finance's role in data migration, testing, and cutover, and see the project through to go-live and the weeks that follow.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Solid grasp of record-to-report, purchase-to-pay, order-to-cash, intercompany, and month-end close.
• Experience with a major ERP such as SAP, Oracle, Agresso, or Navision.
• Comfortable working independently to a fixed deadline.

OTHER DETAILS

• Six-month contract, starting as soon as possible.
• Based in Cork, with 3 to 4 days a week on site.
