Job summary

Brightwater Recruitment is seeking a Finance Director to lead the finance function for a growing group in Co. Tipperary. You will report to the CFO and drive strategic financial insight across multiple entities, with a focus on growth, governance and scalable reporting.

The role requires a qualified finance professional with post-qualification experience, strong IFRS knowledge and the ability to partner with senior stakeholders on strategic decisions. A dynamic, high-growth environment awaits.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA or equivalent qualification.
• At least seven years’ post-qualification experience.
• Strong track record in senior finance leadership.
• Extensive knowledge of IFRS, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience managing finance within a group or multi-entity structure.
• Confidence presenting financial information to Boards, executive committees and senior stakeholders.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to build relationships across a business.

Responsibilities

• Leading, mentoring and developing the finance team, building capability as the business expands.
• Overseeing group financial reporting, management accounts and Board-level reporting.
• Directing budgeting, forecasting and wider financial planning activities.
• Managing consolidated reporting across multiple group entities.
• Supporting mergers and acquisitions, including financial integration of newly acquired businesses.
• Maintaining effective financial controls, governance and regulatory compliance.
• Enhancing reporting processes through automation, AI-enabled reporting and systems improvements.
