Job summary

Hibernian Recruitment is partnering with a scaling business to appoint a commercially minded Finance Director in Co. Tipperary at an exciting growth stage.

Reporting to the CFO, you will lead the day-to-day finance function with two direct reports and work closely with the leadership team to support growth and acquisition integration.

This is an opportunity to shape a scalable finance function, strengthen reporting and bring valuable financial insight to commercial decisions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years post-qualification experience in senior finance leadership.
• Experience in a multi-entity or group environment is preferred.
• Strong commercial judgement and communication skills.

• Lead management accounts, board reporting and group consolidation.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Support acquisition integration with the Head of M&A.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading management accounts, Board reporting and group consolidation.
• Managing budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Supporting acquisition integration alongside the Head of M&A.
• Strengthening financial controls, governance and finance processes.
• Developing your team and improving systems, reporting and automation.

We’re looking for a qualified accountant with 7+ years’ post-qualification experience, a strong track record in senior finance leadership and experience within a multi-entity or group environment.

You’ll bring commercial judgement, strong communication skills and the ability to balance strategic input with hands‑on delivery. Experience supporting acquisitions or working in a scaling business would be an advantage.
