Job summary

Suntory Beverage & Food GB&I in Ireland seeks a Senior Commercial Finance Business Partner to lead finance support for the Ireland Sales organisation, driving sustainable profitable growth through challenge, insight, and decision support.

You will partner with the Sales team, own forecast inputs, lead two Commercial Finance Business Partners, govern trade investments, pricing and promotions, and deliver clear performance insights for month-end reviews.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant or equivalent commercial finance experience.
• Strong FMCG commercial finance, sales finance or business partnering experience.
• Experience partnering senior sales stakeholders with constructive challenge.
• Ability to lead, prioritise and develop finance team members.
• Flexible and resilient, able to prioritise across multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
• Commercially credible with understanding of customer profitability, pricing, trade spend and revenue drivers.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance partnership with Ireland Sales organisation, providing financial challenge and support to drive profitable growth.
• Own quality, accuracy, and robustness of commercial forecast inputs with evidence-based assumptions.
• Lead Commercial Finance Business Partner team (x2) supporting customers, channels, field sales, trade investment and pricing.
• Provide finance leadership for Suntory Global Spirits (SGS) in Ireland and integrate performance into forecasts and month-end reviews.
• Build effective One Suntory collaboration with stakeholders.
• Manage and develop two Commercial Finance Business Partners, setting priorities and supporting growth.
• Ensure trade investment governance, pricing, promotions and Joint Business Planning are financially evaluated and aligned with growth priorities.
• Deliver clear, timely commercial performance insights to Sales and COMEX.

About your role

The purpose of this position is to Lead commercial finance support across the Ireland Sales organisation to drive sustainable profitable growth through finance challenge, insight, and decision support.

What You'll Do

• Lead finance partnership with Ireland Sales organisation, providing financial challenge and support to drive profitable growth.
• Own quality, accuracy, and robustness of commercial forecast inputs, ensuring assumptions are evidence-based and clearly understood. (PDCA mindset)
• Lead Commercial Finance Business Partner team x2 supporting customers, channels, field sales, trade investment, pricing, promotional activity, and commercial strategy.
• Provide finance leadership for Suntory Global Spirits (SGS) commercial management in Ireland, embedding Suntory Global Spirits (SGS) performance into sales forecasting, reviews, and month-end management.
• Build effective 'One Suntory' collaboration with stakeholders.
• Manage and develop two Commercial Finance Business Partners, setting priorities and supporting their growth.
• Ensure trade investment governance, pricing, promotional decisions, customer negotiations and Joint Business Planning (JBP) are financially evaluated and aligned with profitable growth priorities.
• Deliver clear, timely, and actionable commercial performance insights to Sales and COMEX stakeholders.
• Provide month-end sales performance commentary at customer and channel levels.

• Balancing support and challenge to senior sales stakeholders to drive profitable growth.
• Ensuring forecast inputs are robust, evidence-based, and aligned with commercial realities.
• Managing multiple stakeholder expectations across Sales, COMEX, and SGS teams.
• Leading a finance team to deliver high-quality insights and maintain a proactive commercial finance culture.
• Integrating SGS commercial performance within Ireland Sales reporting and decision-making.
• Adapting to evolving market conditions and commercial strategies while maintaining financial rigor.

Essential

• Qualified accountant or equivalent commercial finance experience
• Strong FMCG commercial finance, sales finance or business partnering experience
• Experience partnering senior sales stakeholders with constructive challenge
• Ability to lead, prioritise and develop finance team members
• Flexible and resilient, able to prioritise across multiple stakeholders and adapt around key commercial deadlines
• Commercially credible, resilient with strong communication skills
• Strong understanding of customer profitability, pricing, trade spend, promotions and revenue drivers

Desirable

• Experience with SAP, Excel, Trade Spend Management tools and business intelligence/reporting
• Experience working across partner, distributor or principal relationships
• Curiosity or experience in Microsoft Copilot, AI-enabled analysis or automation tools
