Job summary

ACCPRO is seeking a Finance Business Partner for a newly created role in Newbridge, Co. Kildare.

The position supports strategic planning, ensures project financial success and adds long-term commercial value to the business. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and end-to-end month-end close, delivering management accounts and financial reporting while building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the board.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with c. 5-8 years' PQE
• A technical accounting background with a developed skillset in more commercial areas (budgeting, forecasting)
• Strong IT and systems experience (Excel, Power BI, Power Query, Oracle)
• Experience in project finance, joint ventures or other asset-intensive environments is desirable
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at Board, Senior Management, shareholder and external partner level

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly re-forecasting for your business unit
• Own the end-to-end month-end close process, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of management accounts and financial reporting
• Review statutory reporting and audit outputs for assigned entities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant shareholders (internal and external)
• Prepare and present monthly reporting packs in line with shareholder and board requirements
