Job summary

Abbott in Dublin is hiring a Digital Automation Specialist – Finance to drive automation and digital improvements in Finance Shared Services (CFS). You will work across governance, capability building, and opportunity delivery, partnering with Finance stakeholders and global communities.

The role requires hands-on delivery of automated solutions using Automation Anywhere, Power Platform tools, and AI solutions, with strong English and finance domain knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years designing and implementing automation or digital solutions.
• Finance experience: 5+ years in Finance with 2+ years on projects or PMO/Transformation roles.
• Strong English language proficiency.
• Experience with ERP, finance data flows, and reporting environments.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to digital governance and standards within the COE.
• Support finance automation capability building and training.
• Identify opportunities, design, build, test, and deploy automation and reporting solutions.
• Engage with Finance SMEs and transformation teams to drive adoption.
• Document proofs of concept and reuse assets in the COE repository.
• Collaborate globally to share insights and ensure consistency.
• Track performance and provide data-driven insights on progress.
