Job summary

AIB invites graduates to join the Finance & Accounting Graduate Programme, a 3.5-year rotation across teams. You will gain exposure to diverse projects, with strong support and development opportunities from day one.

You’ll learn on the job, pursue professional qualifications, and benefit from hybrid working arrangements and a structured development plan.

What You’ll Do

We’re made up of small teams where you have the chance to expand your knowledge and be heavily involved in ongoing projects. Modern careers in finance are grounded not only in solid finance and accounting skills and experience, but also in data analysis and management.We provide full support in achieving your professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CFA), along with a generous study leave policy for further backing.

Our Programme puts an emphasis on providing the opportunity to gain experience in different roles across Finance through rotations. Each graduate will rotate at least once over the course of the programme into areas of the business such as:

• Project Accounting

• Finance Services

Every graduate is assigned a dedicated People Leader who will support your development, help you navigate challenges and encourage you to get the most from your experience.

You'll also become part of a vibrant graduate community, joining fellow Finance & Accounting graduates as well as graduates from previous intakes. Whether it's learning, networking or social events, you'll quickly build relationships that last well beyond the programme.

Entry Requirements:

• Achieved or expected to achieve a minimum 2.1 Honours Degree (or equivalent for universities outside of Ireland) is a prerequisite for those joining the AIB graduate programme.
• Candidates must be fully authorised to work in Ireland or hold a valid work permit for the full duration of the 23-month contract (September 2027 – March 2031).
