Job summary

AIB in Ireland invites graduates to join our Finance & Accounting Graduate Programme starting September 2027. Over 3.5 years you will rotate across Finance teams, gain exposure to projects and learn through hands-on experience and study support.

The programme offers full training, access to senior leaders, mentoring, and opportunities to achieve ACCA, CIMA, ACA or CFA qualifications, with a generous study leave policy, and a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Achieved or expected to achieve a minimum 2.1 Honours Degree (or equivalent for universities outside of Ireland) is a prerequisite for those joining the AIB graduate programme.
• Candidates must be fully authorised to work in Ireland or hold a valid work permit for the full duration of the 23-month contract (September 2027 – March 2031).

Responsibilities

• Rotate across different finance teams during the 3.5-year programme to gain diverse experience.
• Support on real business initiatives and work with experienced professionals to develop accounting qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CFA).
• Take ownership on projects and contribute to the bank's financial objectives.

What You’ll Do

We’re made up of small teams where you have the chance to expand your knowledge and be heavily involved in ongoing projects. Our Programme puts an emphasis on providing the opportunity to gain experience in different roles across Finance through rotations. Each graduate will rotate at least once over the course of the programme into areas of the business such as:
