Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator for an established engineering services business based in Macroom, Co. Cork. The role is fully office based, coordinating field service engineers, scheduling maintenance and installation works, and supporting project delivery.

The successful candidate will manage customer queries, track timelines, and maintain records while ensuring daily operations run smoothly and customers receive excellent service.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in scheduling, administration or coordination.
• Experience in engineering, construction, utilities or technical services is advantageous.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP or scheduling systems.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily and weekly schedules for field service engineers.
• Manage emergency call-outs, maintenance visits and installation works.
• Track project timelines, equipment orders and material deliveries.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and engineers to resolve queries and minimise delays.
• Maintain accurate records using internal systems and databases.
• Support health and safety compliance and general operational administration.
