Job summary

Solenis is expanding its field-based service team in Ireland. The Field-based Service Technician will install, service and maintain water treatment equipment across Munster, Kilkenny, and Cork, delivering practical site support and customer-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proactive, results-driven and able to work independently.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Willingness to travel, including overnight stays and out-of-hours work when needed.
• Experience in water treatment, engineering, plumbing or electrical fields is desirable but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Installing, commissioning and servicing water treatment equipment including softeners, and dosing systems.
• Conducting water sampling, analytical testing and environmental hygiene monitoring.
• Carrying out cleaning, disinfection, flushing and descaling of water systems, tanks and cooling towers.
• Supporting customers with technical advice and troubleshooting.
• Managing equipment, PPE and company vehicle to the highest standards.
• Building strong customer relationships and identifying opportunities for additional products and services.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately and in line with company and industry standards.
