Lexas Technologies is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our Leixlip, Co. Kildare team. You will provide on-site technical support for complex semiconductor equipment, performing installation, maintenance and commissioning tasks across customer sites in Ireland.

The role requires 5–8 years of relevant experience, a technical degree, and strong English communication. Travel may be required, with opportunities for USA training and professional growth within a global company.

Qualifications

Technical Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic or Mechatronics Engineering
Experience with semiconductor capital equipment
Excellent communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Good level of spoken and written English
Ability to attend technical training in the USA at short notice

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain complex electro-mechanical systems
Troubleshoot equipment faults and resolve technical issues
Replace faulty components and perform preventative maintenance
Install, relocate and commission customer equipment
Support project activities under supervision
Learn from senior engineers and work towards technical certifications
Build professional relationships with customers
Travel for business assignments when required.

Field Service Engineer - Experienced

Equipment installation
Manufacturing support

For our Leixlip, Kildare location in Ireland we are currently looking for Field Service Engineers to join the local account teams providing on-site technical support for customer equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Repair and maintain complex electro-mechanical systems
Troubleshoot equipment faults and resolve technical issues
Replace faulty components and perform preventative maintenance
Install, relocate and commission customer equipment
Support project activities under supervision
Learn from senior engineers and work towards technical certifications
Build professional relationships with customers
Travel for business assignments when required.

Essential Qualifications

Technical Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in:

Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic or Mechatronics Engineering
Qualified electrician
Or equivalent qualification

Experience
