Lam Research in Dublin is seeking a Field Service Engineer to lead on-site repair, installation, and maintenance of Lam’s semiconductor equipment. You will diagnose issues, perform equipment startup, and coordinate service activities with customers across Europe and beyond.

The role requires a technical degree with 2+ years of experience, ability to read schematics, and willingness to travel extensively. Lam emphasizes teamwork, quality, and customer satisfaction in a dynamic, global environment.

Formación

• Technical degree or higher in a related engineering field with 2+ years of experience.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical diagrams and operation manuals.
• Willingness to travel domestically, Europe-wide and internationally.
• EU passport is required due to assignments in multiple EU countries.
• Experience in clean room environments and PPE usage.

Responsabilidades

• Provide on-site repair, maintenance, and installation/relocation start-up services of Lam’s equipment at customer sites.
• Perform diagnostics, analyze issues to component level, and take corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Stay up-to-date on semiconductor capital equipment and Lam products through training and certification.
• Maintain records and reports coordinating activities between Lam and the customer.
• Represent Lam to customers, delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Discuss opportunities and challenges with customers to build trust.
