Job summary

BMS Performance Ireland is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service chromatography and mass spectrometry instrumentation across Ireland. You will install, commission, maintain and troubleshoot high-tech equipment at customer sites, with travel across North Leinster / East of Ireland.

The role requires 3–5 years' hands-on MS/Chromatography experience, a relevant technical qualification, and strong communication skills for direct customer interaction.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' hands-on experience with mass spectrometry and chromatography equipment.
• Experience servicing, maintaining or troubleshooting highly technical laboratory instrumentation.
• Experience with LC, GC and/or mass spectrometry systems.

Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of laboratory instrumentation at customer sites.
• Preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
• Troubleshooting technical issues onsite and remotely.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs.
• Providing ongoing technical support to customers.
• Training end users on equipment when required.
• Completing service reports and calibration documentation.
