Job summary

TBI BICASA Scientific Ltd is seeking an experienced Laboratory Installation Technician / Supervisor to join our Irish projects. You will install specialist laboratory furniture and equipment across sites nationwide, reading drawings and guiding on-site teams.

The role requires experience on construction or installation sites, familiarity with cabinets or furniture installations, and the ability to read installation drawings. Travel across Ireland with occasional overnight stays is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience on construction or installation sites.
• Experience installing cabinets or similar systems.
• Experience supervising a small team.
• Ability to read installation/layout drawings.
• Confident with hand and power tools.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Strong customer service and professional client interaction.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Awareness of Health & Safety in construction environments.
• English language skills (spoken and written).
• Full clean driving licence essential.
• Safe Pass preferable.
• Manual Handling Certificate preferable.

Responsibilities

• Read installation drawings and complete installations accordingly.

My Client is seeking an experienced Laboratory Installation Technician / Supervisor to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work on the installation of specialist laboratory furniture and equipment across projects throughout Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Reading installation and layout drawings and completing installations accordingly
• Installing laboratory furniture, cabinetry and specialist equipment
• Directing and supervising installation teams on site
• Using hand and power tools to assemble and install furniture and equipment
• Working effectively within construction and laboratory environments
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally and to a high standard
• Liaising professionally with clients, contractors and other site personnel
• Keeping work areas clean, organised and tidy throughout each project
• Adhering to all company policies, procedures and Health & Safety requirements
• Travelling to project sites throughout Ireland, including occasional overnight stays
• Representing TBI BICASA Scientific Ltd in a professional and positive manner at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience working on construction or installation sites
• Experience installing cabinets, furniture or similar systems is highly desirable
• Experience supervising or directing a small team is advantageous
• Ability to read and interpret installation/layout drawings
• Confident using hand and power tools
• Good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service skills and a professional approach when dealing with clients
• Self-motivated, organised and capable of working independently
• Good awareness of Health & Safety procedures within a construction environment
• Good spoken and written English
