Job summary

Eurofins Biopharma Product Testing is seeking a General Operative at our Dungarvan site. You will support the EHS & Facilities team to maintain Buildings 1 and 2, campus utilities, and safety systems, keeping the site clean, compliant, and audit-ready.

The role is full-time (39 hours/week) with a 9:30am start pattern, occasional Saturday. You will contribute to maintenance tasks, emergency response, and continuous improvement while working with internal teams and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience in GMP production, laboratory, facilities or regulated site desirable.
• Experience in facilities or general operative roles desirable.
• Full, clean driving license essential; forklift license advantageous.
• Proficient with Microsoft software.
• Good organisational skills with prioritisation.
• Strong attention to detail and housekeeping.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Good communication with internal teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Support EHS & Facilities team with moves and equipment.
• Assist with building emergencies and call-outs.
• Participate in preventative maintenance activities.
• Maintain upkeep of buildings and support areas.
• Be point of contact for site water systems.
• Ensure plant rooms and stores are secure and audit-ready.
• Support site security and access systems.
• Assist pest control and external vendor visits.
• Support electrical safety inspections and firefighting equipment PM.
• Act as contact for external grounds activities.
• Complete safety checks and training participation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement plans.
• Carry out cleaning and sanitisation as required.
• Participate in Fire Warden, Spill Response, Waste Management.
