Job summary

Eurofins Biopharma Product Testing in Dungarvan is seeking a General Operative to support the EHS & Facilities team across Buildings 1 and 2. You will help maintain facilities, assist with safety checks, and ensure audit-ready conditions across site operations.

This full-time role is 39 hours per week, with shifts: 9:30am-5:45pm Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri and 9:30am-6:00pm Wed; one Saturday every 4 weeks. Prior GMP or regulated site experience is desirable, and a full driving license is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous GMP or regulated site exposure is desirable.
• Full, clean driving licence is essential; forklift licence is an advantage.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and general computer skills.
• Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Reliable, flexible and able to support changing site requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the EHS, Facilities Maintenance and Housekeeping teams with moves across the site.
• Support building emergencies and call-outs, including alarms or incidents.
• Assist in-house preventative maintenance and general maintenance tasks.
• Maintain upkeep and appearance of buildings and support areas, including minor repairs.
• Act as point of contact for site water systems and PM vendor management.
• Ensure plant rooms and stores are clean, tidy and audit-ready.
• Support site security by managing access systems and stores when not in use.
• Support pest control activities and vendor visits as required.
• Assist onsite electrical safety and firefighting equipment inspections.
• Participate in Fire Warden, Spill Response, and Waste Management activities.
