Job summary

Young Women’s Christian Association of Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate facility operations, maintenance and retrofitting works while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

The role requires at least 5 years in related work with supervisory experience and a Diploma in Facilities and Building Management, plus proficiency in MS Office. Weekend/public holiday work may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in relevant work experience with supervisory responsibility.
• Familiar with SCDF, Fire Safety Act, and Workplace Safety and Health Act.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair work for the building and equipment.
• Supervise and verify all jobs done by contractors and government agencies relating to the building maintenance.
• Provide AV support to events.
• Manage facility operations and retrofitting activities.
• Provide equipment installation, refurbishment.
• Maintain equipment checklist and recording of routine checks.
• Coordinate work orders with other departments.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to improve time, cost and quality management.
• Attend to emergency, fire alarm, flooding and electrical failure.
• Inspect and/or supervise on M&E contractors’ repair work and servicing.
• Compliance with safety rules and regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Any other duties may be assigned from time to time.
