Job summary

Autism A Chara is seeking a Facilitator to provide person-centred support to adults with autism. The role requires at least 8 hours per week and a QQI Level 5 Health Care qualification. You will work with individuals to assist daily living, personal care, and community participation.

Applicants should have a full, clean manual driving licence as desired and be able to work on a rota basis. This rewarding position offers development opportunities and a supportive team.

Essential criteria for the position of Facilitator:

• A full QQI level 5 major award in Health/Care is essential
• Awareness of Key Worker/ Support Worker Role and philosophy surrounding support to people with complex needs
• Programme Planning Person Centred Plans
• Availability to work shifts on a rota basis
• Full, clean drivers licence (manual) desirable with requirement to drive service vehicles
• Permission to work in Ireland essential

Qualifications required for a Facilitator:

A full QQI level 5 Health Care Qualification is essential, (e.g. health, community, care sector) but a genuine passion for providing person centred support is key to being successful in the role of a Facilitator.
