Job summary

Ward and Burke Ltd. is seeking a skilled Fabricator (MIG Welding) to join our team based at Gannon’s Yard, Keelogues, Creggs, Co Galway. The role focuses on high-quality MIG welding and independent workmanship for major Ireland & UK construction projects.

You will read fabrication drawings, follow safety protocols, and maintain precise welds and finishes. Overtime paid, with potential for progression within a professional, safety-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Mig Welding: Relevant Mig Welding qualification or strong equivalent experience.
• Attention to detail: Ensuring all work meets safety and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Minimum Annual Remuneration & Benefits

• Salary €38,500. This is a full-time, fixed-term contract for 2 years with a possibility of extension
• Overtime paid at rate of time and a half.
• Ongoing, long-term work tied to major Ireland & UK construction projects

Hours Of Work

• 39-hours week; Monday- Thursday 9 am- 6 pm; Friday: 9am to 5pm.

One hour’s lunchbreak each day
