Job summary

Ward and Burke Ltd. is hiring skilled Fabricators (MIG Welding) for ongoing, long-term work across major Ireland & UK construction projects. The role offers a 39-hour week, a fixed-term contract for 2 years with potential extension, and overtime at time-and-a-half.

Responsibilities

• High-quality MIG welding: Perform precise, clean, structurally sound welds to industry standards.
• Independent workmanship: Deliver consistent results with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity.
• Fabrication drawing interpretation: Read, understand, and work accurately from technical drawings and fabrication plans.
• Safety commitment: Follow all safety protocols, maintain a tidy work area, and use PPE correctly.
• Accuracy and attention to detail: Ensure measurements, weld placement, and final finishes meet exact specifications.
• Quality workmanship: Uphold high standards in every stage of fabrication, from preparation to final inspection.
• Overtime paid at rate of time and a half.

Hours of Work:

• 39-hours week; Monday- Thursday 9 am- 6 pm; Friday: 9am to 5pm.

One hour's lunchbreak each day
