Job summary

Force in Wexford is seeking experienced Welders / Fabricators for full-time, permanent roles. You will join a skilled production team manufacturing stainless steel and carbon steel products for international markets.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 4 years' experience, a SOLAS-recognised trade qualification, strong MIG/MAG welding skills, and the ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances in a modern facility. The role offers a competitive salary and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Time-served SOLAS-recognised trade qualification preferred.

The Role

As a Welder / Fabricator, you will join a skilled and experienced production team manufacturing high-end stainless steel and carbon steel products for customers across the Pharmaceutical, Medical, High-Tech, Civil Engineering and Waste Water Treatment sectors.

Your responsibilities will include:

• MIG / MAG and TIG welding of stainless steel and carbon steel products
• Fabrication of high-quality stainless steel and carbon steel products for international markets
• Manufacturing components and assemblies in accordance with detailed engineering drawings and specifications
• Working with production jigs, lifting equipment and modern manufacturing systems
• Ensuring all work is completed to the required quality standards and within specified tolerances
• Working as part of a well‑organised production team in a modern manufacturing facility
• Following established health, safety and quality procedures

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• A minimum of 4 years' experience in the manufacture of stainless steel and/or carbon steel fabrications
• A time-served SOLAS-recognised trade qualification or equivalent certification is preferred
• Strong MIG / MAG welding experience
• TIG welding experience would be an advantage
• Proven ability to fabricate components and assemblies from engineering drawings
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work accurately to strict tolerances
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality
• Ability to work effectively as part of a busy production team
• A positive, reliable and professional approach to work
• Strong health and safety awareness
