Job summary

Great National South Court Hotel, Raheen, County Limerick, is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join its management team. This full-time role offers a 42.5-hour week across 5 days, with weekends and public holidays included.

You will lead a 25-30 staff team, oversee operations in restaurant, bars, and conference areas, and work closely with the kitchen and broader management to deliver high standards and drive sales.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Food & Beverage Supervisor in a busy 3*/4* hotel.
• Strong background and knowledge of food & beverage operations.
• HACCP trained.
• Excellent people management and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with a hands-on approach.
• Experience in conference & banqueting and events is desirable.
• Experience using hotel front office systems is an advantage.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Flexible, enthusiastic and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist food & beverage operations across the hotel's restaurant, bars, and conference/function areas
• Lead, motivate and support a team of approximately 25-30 staff members
• Ensure high standards of service are maintained at all times
• Liaise closely with the kitchen team regarding menus and food service
• Assist with weekly rostering and departmental administration
• Support staff training and development
• Drive sales initiatives in conjunction with the sales team
• Cover duty management shifts across the hotel when required
• Work closely with the wider hotel management team on daily operational needs
