Job summary

O'Donoghue Ring Collection in Killarney seeks an experienced F&B Duty Manager to oversee daily Food & Beverage operations within the hotel, report to the General Manager, and lead a hands-on team across restaurants, bars and events.

You will ensure exceptional guest service, manage events, maintain quality and health & safety standards, and drive service excellence with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Food & Beverage Manager, Supervisor or Duty Manager in a fast-paced hotel or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge across F&B operations including restaurants, bars and events.
• Experience leading and supporting a hands-on F&B team.
• Degree in Hospitality Management is an advantage; fluent English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Food & Beverage department.
• Assist and support the F&B team and ensure exceptional customer service.
• Manage all functions and events and ensure setup as requested by the customer.
• Ensure quality and standards across all F&B outlets.
• Lead, motivate and support the F&B team to deliver high service standards.
• Ensure all F&B operations run efficiently each shift.
• Monitor service standards and ensure compliance with procedures and health & safety requirements.
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively manage expectations.
• Resolve customer issues promptly.
• Attention to detail to ensure an excellent dining and service experience.
