O'Donoghue Ring Collection in Killarney seeks an experienced F&B Duty Manager to oversee daily Food & Beverage operations within the hotel, report to the General Manager, and lead a hands-on team across restaurants, bars and events.

You will ensure exceptional guest service, manage events, maintain quality and health & safety standards, and drive service excellence with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Food & Beverage Manager, Supervisor or Duty Manager in a fast-paced hotel or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge across F&B operations including restaurants, bars and events.
• Experience leading and supporting a hands-on F&B team.
• Degree in Hospitality Management is an advantage; fluent English is essential.

O'Donoghue Ring Collection is home to Hotels, Apartments, Spa, Restaurants & Bars centrally located in the vibrant town centre of Killarney and Castleisland, Co. Kerry. The team at the Killarney Avenue Hotel is currently recruiting an F&B Duty Manager to join their team. This is a full-time position, reporting to the General Manager, the F&B Duty Manager will oversee the daily running of the Food & Beverage operations within the Hotel.

What you will do

• The F&B Duty Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Food & Beverage department.
• You will assist and support the F&B team when required and ensure exceptional customer service is delivered.
• Manage all functions and events and ensure they are set up as requested by the customer.
• Make sure quality and standards are met consistently throughout all Food & Beverage outlets.
• Lead, motivate and support the F&B team to deliver a high standard of service.
• Ensure all Food & Beverage operations run efficiently and effectively throughout each shift.
• Monitor service standards and ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety requirements.
• Anticipate guest needs, and proactively manage their expectations.
• Ensure prompt resolution of customer issues.
• Attention to detail is required to ensure our guests have an excellent dining and service experience.

About you

• Experience as a Food & Beverage Manager, Supervisor or Duty Manager within a fast-paced Hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge and experience across Food & Beverage operations, including restaurants, bars and functions.
• Experience leading, supporting and being hands-on with an F&B team.
• Excellent customer service experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy environment.
• Degree in Hospitality Management is an advantage.
• Fluent in English is essential.
