Job summary

Carton House, A Fairmont Managed Hotel, is recruiting Food & Beverage Assistants to join The Morrison Room team at our five-star resort in Ireland. This is a hospitality role within a Michelin-starred setting, delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will warmly greet guests, knowledgeably present the menu, and support service with attention to detail. A minimum of 1 year in a similar role at a Michelin-starred or luxury venue is required. Meals, uniform, and parking are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of luxury hotel and fine dining operations.
• Excellent communication and guest engagement skills in English.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role within a Michelin-starred restaurant, luxury hotel, or high-end fine dining establishment.
• Highly organized with a structured approach to service preparation and planning.

We are currently recruiting Food & Beverage Assistants to join our Michelin star Restaurant The Morrison Room team at Carton House.

Key Responsibilities;

• Ensure that all guests are greeted in a warm and courteous fashion and tended to in a professional manner.
• Represent Carton House's passion for customer service, proactively ensuring each guest has the memorable experience expected at Carton House.
• To always be familiar with product offering (i.e. the menu, specials and ingredients, beverages on offer, wine list, etc).
• Familiarize yourself with sales and promotional activity and up sell at every possible opportunity.
• Ensure that all Food and Beverage products are served efficiently and in accordance with the Company standard of presentation.
• Carry out cash handling procedures in accordance with Company policy.

Key Requirements:

• Strong understanding of luxury hotel and fine dining Food & Beverage operations.
• Proven ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and attention to detail in a high-performance environment.
• Excellent communication and guest engagement skills, with a professional standard of spoken and written English.
• Minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar role within a Michelin-starred restaurant, luxury hotel, or high-end fine dining establishment.
• Highly organized with a structured approach to service preparation, prioritization, and operational planning.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service excellence.
