Osborne Recruitment is seeking an Experienced Reach & Counterbalance Forklift Driver for a fast-moving warehouse in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15. The role requires confident operation of Reach and Counterbalance forklifts with a minimum of 2 years in a warehouse environment. You will handle unloading, picking, packing, and SAP system transactions on a daily basis.

Own transport is required due to location. A 38,000€ salary and benefits including 20 days leave, pension, bonus, healthcare, and onsite

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• 12 months driving experience with Reach & Counterbalance forklifts.
• Manual handling training completed within the last 3 years.
• Full reach and counterbalance forklift truck license (in date).
• Fluent English (verbal & written).

Responsibilities

• Off loading, checking and put away of goods into warehouse racking.
• Pick and pack daily for selected sale orders.
• Load picked orders onto hauliers' transport.
• Use SAP to record daily transactions.
• Communicate and book hauliers daily.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and safety standards.
• Drive reach and counterbalance forklifts.
• Assist queries related to warehouse and logistics.

Experienced Reach & Counterbalance Forklift Driver

We're currently looking for an Experienced Reach & Counterbalance Forklift Driver experience to join their dynamic team.

We are looking to find someone who works on a daily basis on a Reach and Counterbalance confidently and efficiently.

This leading builder supplier company is located in Blanchardstown Dublin 15 and are looking for someone to come onboard and start with them as soon as possible.

The successful candidate for this role will have experience for a minimum of 2 year in a Warehouse environment and can confidently operate a Reach and Counterbalance forklift (Will test on interview). The right person will have the ability to work in a fast-moving warehouse.

Due to location – Own transport would be required

Responsibilities

• Off Loading, checking and put away of all goods into the warehouse racking system


• Pick and Pack on a daily basis of all materials to selected sale orders


• Loading of Picked orders onto Hauliers mode of transport


• Use lot and location warehouse management system SAP to record daily transactions


• Communicate and book hauliers on a daily basis


• Record management to record damages, shortages on deliveries


• Maintain and adhere to the highest level on inventory accuracy within the warehouse


• Ensure and improve and maintain a high level of safety and housekeeping standards throughout the warehouse


• Driving of the reach and counterbalance forklift trucks


• Ensuring the wearing of the appropriate PPE. i.e. Hi Vis Vest, safety boots, dust masks etc.


• Consolidation of materials


• Assist with queries relative to warehouse and logistics in a cooperative and timely manner


• Obtain and sign POD’s


• Assist in continuous development & improvement processes with the business


• Set up and cleaning of the training room when required


• Assist perform daily cycle counting

Key Requirements

• 2- 3 years’ experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with picking and packing operations


• 12 months driving experience with Reach & Counterbalance forklifts


• Ability to load & unload vendors mode of transport. 40Ft trailers/containers


• Must have completed Manual handling training (within the last 3 years)


• Fluent English (verbal & written)


• Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skills, with a good positive attitude towards customers and co-workers


• High level of self-motivation and ability to work on own initiative


• Good work ethic & positive attitude towards learning and personal development


• Problem solving and resolution skills


• Must have a full reach and counterbalance forklift truck license (in date)


• Good working knowledge of SAP or other warehouse management system
