Job summary

Galway Bay Hotel is seeking an experienced Bartender to join our team in Salthill, Co. Galway, Ireland. This permanent/part-time role requires delivering excellent guest service and cocktail expertise in a busy hospitality setting.

Applicants should be able to work Monday to Friday and weekends, with a focus on guest satisfaction and professional service. Training will be provided for product knowledge and standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of drink trends and cocktails.
• Excellent communication and inviting manner.
• Experience in a similar role preferred but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Maximise guest satisfaction by ensuring smooth, efficient service.
• Provide professional, friendly and courteous service to all guests.
• Warmly welcome guests and take orders efficiently.
• Be familiar with the menu and beverages on offer.
• Ensure F&B products are served to company standards.
• Prepare and set up the department before and after service.

Applicants must be available to work Monday to Friday and weekends.

Responsibilities:

• To maximize guest satisfaction by ensuring the smooth and efficient running of service.
• Ensure a professional, friendly and courteous service to all guests.
• To ensure that all guests are warmly welcomed and that orders are taken efficiently.
• To always be familiar with product offering (i.e. the menu, beverages on offer).
• To ensure that all Food and Beverage products are served efficiently and in accordance with the Company standard of presentation.
• To ensure the department is properly prepared and set-up prior to and after service.

About You:

• Have an in-depth knowledge of drink trends and cocktails.

• You have excellent communication skills and an inviting manner.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential as quality training will be provided.
