Job summary

Collins McNicholas Recruitment & HR Services Group is seeking an Exhibitions & Events Coordinator to drive delivery across exhibitions, events, retail displays and pop-up shops in Dublin. You will manage client relationships, budgets, and supplier coordination from concept through to onsite delivery.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in events/exhibitions, strong organisational skills, and comfort with budgets.

Qualifications

  • Previous events industry project coordination or project management experience is essential.
  • Ideally 3+ years' experience within events, exhibitions, experiential or a related environment.
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
  • Experience working directly with clients and suppliers.
  • Comfortable working with budgets, quotations and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
  • Practical, positive and solutions-focused approach.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Flexibility around working hours when required for project delivery.
  • Availability to travel to Europe approximately 2–3 times per year.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate a variety of exhibition, event, retail and pop-up projects.
  • Support clients throughout the planning and delivery process.
  • Attend client meetings and site visits.
  • Prepare quotations and assist with project budgets.
  • Brief internal design and production teams.
  • Coordinate suppliers and onsite services.
  • Organise logistics, transport and plant hire.
  • Liaise with purchasing and production teams.
  • Manage project timelines and documentation.
  • Support onsite builds and installations.
  • Coordinate suppliers and teams onsite.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.

Job description

We are seeking an Exhibitions & Events Coordinator to join a well-established and growing business in Dublin.

This is a varied, hands-on role working across exhibitions, events, retail displays and pop-up shops for a portfolio of long-established clients and well-known brands. No two projects are the same, offering the opportunity to work across different environments and see projects develop from initial concept and design through to production and onsite installation.

This would suit someone with experience in events or project coordination who enjoys variety, working with clients and managing multiple moving parts. Training and support will be provided to develop your knowledge of exhibition production and delivery.

The Role:

Previous exhibition experience is an advantage but is not essential, as training will be provided.
