Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef in Dublin 7 for a permanent, full-time role with a 39-hour week. Lead two kitchens and seven outlets, develop innovative menus, and ensure top standards in food safety and service. The role offers professional development and a comprehensive benefits package.

Your leadership will drive operational excellence, supplier relationships, and client satisfaction across the site, supporting growth and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Previous experience leading a large catering or hospitality operation.
• Professional chef qualification (706/2, NVQ Level 2 or equivalent).
• Experience developing new menus and concepts.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene legislation, health and safety, and allergen management.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, food costs, labour and stock.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication, organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the kitchen brigade across two kitchens and seven outlets.
• Develop, refresh, and innovate menus and food concepts to meet client expectations and drive growth.
• Oversee daily operations for efficient production, timely service, and Sodexo standards.
• Manage budgets, food costs, labour, stock control, and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations and procedures.
• Coach and develop the chef team to build a high-performing, customer-focused culture.
• Identify opportunities to grow hospitality revenue and support local SME suppliers.
