Future Events Hire – part of the Briggs Equipment Group in Ireland is seeking an Events Driver/Yard Operative in Ratoath, Co. Meath.

You will split your time between driving duties and supporting the day-to-day yard operations, delivering and collecting equipment to event venues and welfare sites across Ireland. You’ll need a full C+E driving licence, teleporter and forklift licences, and a digital tachograph card.

Qualifications

• Valid licences and tickets required (C+E, Teleporter/Forklift)
• Experience driving in events logistics is advantageous
• Digital tachograph card required or preferred

Responsibilities

• Splitting your time between driving duties and supporting the day-to-day operation of the yard.
• Deliver and collect equipment from event venues and welfare sites across Ireland.
• Load, unload and secure equipment safely for transport.
• Support stock control, parts management and ordering of supplies.
• Operate forklifts and telehandlers to move equipment around the yard.
• Work closely with operational teams to ensure event deadlines are met.
• Provide a professional service when interacting with customers and clients.
• Work flexibly to support the changing demands of the events industry.

Hours:

8am - 5:30pm. Monday – Friday.

Flexibility required with some weekend working will be expected in line with the events industry. Weekday overtime is paid at time and a half, while Saturday afternoons and Sundays are paid at double time.

In this role you will be:

What will help you to excel in this role:

• A valid Teleporter and Forklift Licence (up to 12T).
• A full, clean C+E Driving Licence.
• A Digital Tachograph Card (preferred).
• Previous experience loading, unloading, securing and transporting equipment safely.
• Experience towing trailers, including transit flatbed and jeep/trailer combinations.
• Good understanding of load restraint and transport safety requirements.
• At least 2 years' commercial driving experience.
• The ability to work flexibly and adapt to the changing demands of the events industry.
