Job summary

Bridge House Hotel in Tullamore is seeking Conference & Banqueting Assistants to join our team. You will greet guests, assist with tea/coffee stations, and help ensure food and beverage requirements are met according to function sheets.

Work with the Conference & Banqueting Manager and other departments to coordinate large groups and special events, while maintaining high standards of personal hygiene and professionalism throughout each shift.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet guests in the Conference Areas in a polite and pleasant manner
• Set-up and serving of Tea/Coffee stations within the Conference Areas
• Ensure all food and beverage requirements are met according to function sheet
• Communicate with the Conference & Banqueting Manager/Supervisor regarding queries, changes or complaints
• Liaise with other departments for large groups or special requirements
• Wear clean and suitable uniform
• Maintain high standard of personal hygiene and grooming
• Assist in setting up/breaking down buffet or other service tables and equipment
• Set-up, tend, and breakdown bars as assigned
• Complete side-work and other tasks as deemed by management
