Job summary

Apleona is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to join our site in Blackrock, Co Dublin. The role covers day-to-day management of cleaning services, staff supervision, stock control and audits, with a 38-hour week pattern (Mon-Sun).

Key duties include coordinating workloads, ensuring adherence to service specifications, training staff, and liaising with contract parties while Garda Vetting is required. The position offers an active leadership role within a dynamic facilities team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise cleaning teams and ensure service standards meet contract specifications.

• Assist Cleaning Manager with staff recruitment and training.
• Conduct site cleaning audits and determine priorities.
• Control use of cleaning materials and equipment and arrange maintenance.
• Carry out stock checks and inductions for new staff.
• Organise relief/holiday cover as required.
• Record absences and support ad hoc duties.

  At Apleona, We are always on the lookout for talented and dynamic individuals to join our team . We currently have an opening for a Cleaning Supervisor to join our facility in Blackrock, Co Dublin

  Shift Pattern Monday - Sunday 38 Hours Per week

  Main duties and responsibilitie s

  • Ensures the smooth running of the site adhering to the Site Service Level Agreementand Services Specification
  • To supervise and investigate the quality and standard of cleaning services provided atclient sites and assist the Cleaning Manager
  • To assist the Cleaning Manager in the supervision of the cleaning service staff,including the allocation of workloads, monitoring progress and performance,
  • To assist in the undertaking of site cleaning auditsdetermining work priorities, paying particular attention to productivity and quality control
  • To control and monitor the correct use of appropriate cleaning materialsand the use of cleaning equipment, arranging the repair or renewal of equipment and make recommendations to the Cleaning Manager
  • To carry out stock checks on equipment and materials as requiredand to arrange/carry out the induction and ‘on the job’ training of the cleaning staff inaccordance with relevant Apleona company practices
  • To undertake in conjunction with the Cleaning Manager, recruitment of cleaningemployees in accordance with relevant Apleona company practices
  • To organise the provision of relief/ holiday cover for cleaning staff as required inconjunction with the Cleaning Manager
  • To authorise, allocate, and record in conjunction with the Cleaning Manager cleaningstaff absences
  • Perform ad hoc duties and other related tasks as assigned by the Cleaning Manager

  The successful candidate must also:
