Job summary

Ready Chef, a family-owned Irish business supplying fresh produce to the Irish food service sector, is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for the evening shift in Dublin. The role involves leading a busy factory team, ensuring orders are produced on time, and maintaining safe, efficient operations in a 7-day facility.

Weekend availability is required; forklift experience is beneficial. The successful candidate will manage staff, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement in

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience.
• Previous experience in a factory environment (preferably fresh produce).
• Forklift experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee on-time production orders for customers.
• Record and manage performance of the factory team.
• Use initiative to identify solutions to production problems.
• Continuously improve department processes.
• Ensure Health and Safety procedures are followed by staff.
• Oversee training for new operatives.
• Maintain a clean and tidy factory environment at shift end.
• Compile reports for the senior supervisor as required.
• Foster a supportive, positive work environment.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as needed.
