Job summary

Sysco Ireland, in partnership with Ready Chef, is seeking an experienced Factory Supervisor to lead a busy production team in a Dublin-based facility. The role runs from 15:00 to 00:00 daily, seven days a week, with weekends required, and involves managing staff and ensuring orders are produced on time for customers.

Applicants must reside in Ireland with a valid full-time visa. Ready Chef operates a 7-day production calendar, and the successful candidate will oversee health and safety, staff

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience.
• Previous experience in a factory environment (preferably fresh produce).
• Forklift experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all customer orders for factory.
• Effectively record and manage the performance of the factory team.
• Using initiative to find alternative solutions to problems that are encountered.
• Continuous improvement of the processes within the department.
• Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures and ensure staff do also.
• Oversee training for new operatives.
• Manage the cleaning and ensure the factory is left in a tidy condition at the end of the production.
• Compile reports at the request of the senior supervisor.
• Develop and maintain a supportive and positive work environment.
• Any ad hoc tasks that are required.
