Job summary

ABEC Inc is seeking a Material Handler for an evening shift (2pm–10:30pm) in Fermoy, Ireland. The role focuses on managing inventory levels, data entry in the ERP system, and ensuring accurate stock counts to meet production and service orders.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, material transfers, and collaboration with QA/Receiving and Purchasing as needed. Candidates should have experience in a manufacturing or cleanroom environment and be capable of operating forklifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or cleanroom environment.
• Knowledge of inventory control and ERP movement records.
• Ability to operate forklifts and handle materials safely.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory transactions for materials received into stock.
• Enter data into ERP to reflect material movements for production or service orders.
• Maintain accurate counts in stockroom and ERP system.
• Perform periodic cycle counts and physical audits to reconcile inventory levels.
• Package and issue materials to Production per shop orders and verify part numbers.
