Job summary

NetZero in Dublin is seeking a Lead Estimator for Engineering & Construction to own tenders from enquiry through submission, covering Data Centres, Pharma, Industrial and Commercial sectors.

You will review drawings, price work, engage subcontractors, identify risks and mentor junior estimators, working closely with engineering and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in mechanical and/or electrical estimating.
• Experience with main contractor or MEP environments.
• Ability to manage large tenders independently.

Lead Estimator – Engineering & Construction

Location: Blanchardstown, Dublin

An established Irish engineering and built-environment business is looking to appoint an experienced Lead Estimator to join its Dublin team.

This is a key role within the pre-construction function, taking ownership of significant tenders from initial enquiry through to final submission and handover. Projects span Data Centres, Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences, Industrial, Commercial and Energy environments.

The Role

• Manage and prepare detailed, commercially robust tenders.
• Review drawings, specifications and scope requirements.

• Identify commercial risks, exclusions and opportunities.
• Lead tender reviews and work closely with engineering and delivery teams.

About You

You’ll have strong Mechanical and/or Electrical estimating experience, ideally gained within a main contractor, MEP contractor or engineering services environment. You should be comfortable managing sizeable tenders independently, with strong knowledge of measurement, pricing, subcontractor engagement and commercial analysis
